The first foundation of the Society of Saint Edmund in the
United States was a mission church in Keeler’s Bay. Today the
Society of Saint Edmund continues to serve in parishes in
Alabama, Louisiana, Vermont, and Caracas (Venezuela).
Responding to the needs of the Church, the Society strives to
witness to “the presence of the Church where it otherwise might
not be” (Constitution, 2000. p. 10).
