Jean-Baptiste Muard founded the Society of Saint Edmund to
re-evangelize the people of France through preaching missions.
Today, the Society ministers at two centers of renewal.
Saint Anne’s
Shrine, in Isle La Motte,
the site of the first Mass in Vermont, is a place of pilgrimage and
retreat.
Saint Edmund’s Retreat, in
Mystic, Connecticut, sponsors guided and private retreats, a variety
of special programs, and houses a successful and well-recognized
Institute of Sacred Art. |
