Criteria for Prospective Members

Applicants to the Society of Saint Edmund will be men who manifest:

• a steady practice of the Catholic faith,

• signs of spiritual development, regular prayer and religious practice,

• a degree of maturity and a sense of responsibility that are commensurate with their age,

• the absence of any serious psychological or moral problems,

• above-average scholastic performance, and

• a genuine interest in serving their neighbor in the spirit of the Gospel and in the light of evangelical mission.
