In celebration of Holy Week, Edmundite Campus Ministry is happy to share with you a prayerful experience of our Lord’s Passion for Good Friday. This presentation of the Stations of the Cross was inspired by the Scriptural Way of the Cross that was celebrated in Rome by Pope John Paul II on Good Friday in 1991. Campus Minister Anna Lester ’98 worked with our students in producing this YouTube video. You may find the presentation on the Society of Saint Edmund YouTube Channel.
Members of the Edmundite Community celebrated the Mass of the Lord’s Supper privately in the College Chapel. Please be assured that we prayerfully remembered all our students, alumni, parents, friends and employees as we recalled the institution of the Eucharist and its relationship to serving others as modeled by Jesus in the washing of the feet. These are truly the holiest days of the year for our Christian faith, and I hope you have the opportunity to have some quiet time to pray with these sacred mysteries.
We will post the link for our Easter liturgy on Saturday evening. Thank you for praying with us.
The heart of the Society of Saint Edmund’s mission is serving where the need is greatest, a credo that has led us to four core ministries: Social Justice, Education, Spiritual Renewal and Pastoral Ministry. It is through these core ministries that we live out a faith-based life of service and make a real difference in people’s lives by bringing them closer to God.
