The Society of Saint Edmund is a Catholic order of priests and
brothers who share a common life and a profound commitment to
improving people’s lives and deepening their relationship with the
Church and with God, particularly in communities where the needs
are greatest. Our ministry is based upon a service model. We build
communities of faith by making ourselves available and present to
the people we minister to, as well as those who minister with us.
Collaborative, inclusive, hospitable and approachable are a few of the
words lay partners, students, parishioners and others frequently use to
describe The Edmundites. |

“I am often amazed and humbled by my fellow
Edmundites and their depth of commitment
to our mission and love for all we
serve. And as much as we give, we receive
so much more in return, for it’s our spirituality,
common life and missionary zeal, that
influences the lives of so many and helps
make the world a better place.”
— Father Michael Cronogue, SSE
Superior General
